Our Story
Crestmont Christian Preparatory School is a Certified University-Model School® and a member of University Model Schools International. Crestmont Prep is also a Cognia accredited school and a member of Association of Christian Schools International. Our school provides a Christian education with classical influences and Christ-centered education integrating Biblical truth throughout each subject.
At Crestmont, we believe that parents have been given the primary responsibility for the training, discipleship, and education of their children. [ Reference: Deuteronomy 6:7 ]
With this core principle in mind, our primary goal is to equip and support families according to our mission; partnering with parents to create an exemplary learning environment using education as the conduit for discipleship.
It is our vision to send out alumni who are disciples of Jesus Christ reinvesting their time, talent, and training to impact the world for God’s glory.
Partnering with parents and families, we prepare students with the skills, tools, and disciplines for a successful college experience. Although world-class academics is our primary value, we believe that children greatly benefit from real life learning and thrive when they have an opportunity to experience adventures outside the classroom. Crestmont Prep provides opportunities for students to participate in a full range of character building experiences such as outdoor adventures, team and individual athletics, on-site learning and field trips, and local community service and missions.
Crestmont Christian Preparatory School is committed to recruiting and training teachers, administrators, and staff who are dedicated to our mission, share our vision and uphold our core values of collaborate, persevere, endeavor, honor, and cultivate by example.

Alyssa DeLosSantos
Principal of Crestmont Christian Prep
Alyssa DeLosSantos is a Christ follower, wife, mother, Bible study teacher, writer, and educator. She loves books, old windows and doors, clean floors, hot tea, and analogies. She founded the Sowkind Nonprofit, where she enjoys connecting with community members to encourage acts of kindness.
She graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and began teaching in a prominent San Antonio school district. During her tenure, she was a self-contained grade-level teacher, an academic support teacher, a writing specialist, and a staff development coach. In 2018, Alyssa joined Crestmont as a high school English teacher and served as Academic Dean from 2019-2021. She has enjoyed more than twenty years of new class lists, freshly sharpened pencils, and the wonder of learning.
While education is her specialty, students are her passion. She believes students do not care how much you know until they know how much you care. Her mission is to establish environments where hearts can grow and minds mature. Crestmont is more than a teaching assignment; it's an opportunity to equip and send out the next generation of leaders.
